Lena Ravitch

Young Family and Young Adult Engagement Specialist

Departments: Administrative

A lover of interpersonal work and notorious extrovert, Lena (she/her/hers) is always eager to get to know new people and strives to create inclusive spaces for folks to connect and schmooze.

Lena is a graduate of University of Rochester with a BA in Music. During her studies, she worked in engagement at Eastman School of Music’s Institute for Music Leadership, helping young musicians build entrepreneurial skills. She also has experience in marketing through 21C Media Group, a PR firm for Classical musicians, and spent two years as a high school English teacher because she refuses to pick a lane.

Lena grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and spent her summers at Camp Ramah in the Poconos, where she later became a counselor. She has loved working with kids since high school, when she supported Tot Shabbat at her hometown synagogue and worked part time planning events at Game-U, an afterschool program which provided K-8 programming and robotics classes.

In her spare time, Lena is captain of a women’s soccer team, an animated movie aficionado, and butler to her adorable cat Lily.
