Departments: Administrative

Aaron Berc is excited to join the Temple Emanuel community this year as the Teen Rabbinic Intern. Prior to Rabbinical school, Aaron had stints in both Corporate America and in Jewish Non-Profits. Most recently, Aaron worked for five years as a Community Organizer at Jewish Community Action, where he organized the Twin Cities Jewish community around issues of affordable housing and economic justice. Aaron previously served as a Rabbinic Intern at Shir Tikvah in Minneapolis and Temple Sinai of Brookline. Aaron graduated from the University of Kansas, with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Studies with a minor concentration in Physics. He also received a Certificate of Jewish Ethics and Social Justice from the Jewish Theological Seminary. Aaron is currently studying to become a Rabbi at Hebrew College in Newton, MA where he is in his third year of study.

Aaron loves basketball, live music, movies, and Jewish practice. He loves to talk about Star Wars or the NBA while going for long walks near trees or the water. His goal for this year is to weave a beautiful and tight knit community with all our TE Teens!
