August TEkun: Volunteering at Community Servings!
This month, we are uniting through the power of food and community! Join us as we make delicious and nutritious meals from scratch. We will package the meals so they can be home-delivered to individuals and families living with chronic illnesses. Feel free to sign up for one or all three shifts!

- August 20th, 2019 – 4PM – 6PM
RSVP’s are required! Each session can only accommodate 10 volunteers.

Volunteers should plan to arrive at 3:45 to find parking/get situated. We will meet at Community Servings (179 Amory Street, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130) which is located minutes from the Stony Brook MBTA Orange Line Station. There is also a parking lot for volunteers available on a first-come first-serve basis.
- Long sleeved shirt
- Close toed shoes
- Pants without rips or tears
- Hairnets, aprons, and gloves will be provided on site!
Health and Wellness Policy
Since we are creating meals for people living with chronic illness, You CANNOT volunteer at Community Servings if you have experienced a fever, diarrhea, a persistent cough or runny nose in the last 24 hours.
Are you a volunteer under the age 18?
Amazing! Please have a parent, guardian, or chaperone sign this waiver for any volunteer under the age 18.
