At Temple Emanuel Preschool, we pride ourselves on offering a quality, nurturing, and dynamic learning environment for your child. Your preschooler will have the opportunity to learn through play and interact with his/her peers in a positive way. We look forward to watching your child grow academically, socially and spiritually as we explore new adventures together each day.
As a synagogue preschool, we are fully committed to a Judaica program that helps children learn about the Jewish part of their world and life. The customs and traditions of Shabbat and the holidays are experienced through the young child’s senses. Family participation is encouraged. An atmosphere of belonging is created through which the children and their families experience the delights of Judaism.
Our Objectives are to:
- Foster a positive self-image
- Encourage independence and self-direction
- Enhance creativity and a desire to discover
- Refine physical skills
- Develop problem-solving, communication and socialization skills

Schedule a Visit: See for Yourself!
Our staff is sensitive to the individual strengths and needs of each child. Teachers work to provide an atmosphere for children where they are encouraged to freely observe, question and
discover. The classroom becomes the center in which children learn about themselves and the world around them.
We know that choosing a preschool for your child is a very important decision for the entire family.
Nothing takes the place of a personal visit. You can then see for yourself the warm sense of community that is the hallmark of the Temple Emanuel Preschool at the Selma & Julian
Rickles Early Childhood Center.
Please feel free to call our director, Wendy Falchuk at (617) 558-8130 if you have any questions and to schedule a visit.
