Me’ah Classic

Meah_2017_logoMe’ah (hebrew of 100) is a two-year, 100-hour, intensive adult Jewish learning program of Hebrew College and CJP’s Commission on Jewish Learning. Whether or not you have had a formal Jewish education, Me’ah will answer questions that you have as a mature adult.

You’ll Study and Discuss:

  • The Hebrew Bible in its original ancient Near Eastern context
  • The development of civil and religious laws by Jewish sages during the Talmudic period
  • The contributions of Jews living under Islamic and Christian rule during medieval times
  • Jewish approaches to the challenges of modernity

Our next Me’ah class will begin in Fall 2018
