Adult Education

Say not, “When I have leisure I will study. Perhaps you will have no leisure.”

Hillel, Ethics of the Fathers, Ch. 2

Jewish learning lasts a lifetime. Temple Emanuel strives to be a learning congregation for all. Our Adult Education programs are designed to meet a variety of needs and interests for all members of our congregational family, from helping congregants gain basic skills and Judaic knowledge to providing topics of general Jewish interest.

We look forward to learning with you! Throughout the year, courses in Hebrew, Bible, current events, Jewish theology, history and so much more are offered at a variety of times and places.

Please review our list of upcoming programs and courses to find the multitude of exciting learning opportunities planned for this year. The Community Education and Celebrations Brochure provides a full list of the proposed classes for the upcoming year.

Many courses are offered with no fee. Where fees apply they are noted in the course description.
