Help support a gathering of local foster families who meet monthly for discussions (and snacks!), with supervised kids’ activities in an nearby room. Martha Hausman, The 2N Family Support Specialist (FSS) facilitates these informal meetings with each parent taking a turn to share what’s happening in their lives, and everyone offering their wisdom. The Cohort soon becomes its own little community.
Volunteers will:
- Sign people in
- Help kids get snacks
- Show adults and kids the rooms we will meet in
- Supervise/play with kids while their adults meet
