The Three Challenges Israel Faces Today

“Micah Goodman of Jerusalem is the most electrifying thinker I have ever experienced. I believe he is Heschel for our generation. Those who heard him here before know what I mean. His Torah is like no other.” – Rabbi Wes Gardenswartz

Micah Goodman has a doctorate from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Jewish Thought. He teaches Jewish Thought at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, is a Research Fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute and lectures throughout Israel on contemporary Judaism and Israeli culture. He is one of contemporary Israel’s most celebrated thinkers and one of two recipients of the prestigious Marc and Henia Liebhaber Prize for Religious Tolerance in 2014.

Dr. Goodman directs the Beit Midrash Yisraeli – Ein Prat, working to create new Israeli and Jewish leadership with cultural and personal depth. He is the author of four Israeli bestsellers: Moses’s Final Speech, The Dream of the Kuzari, The Secrets of the Guide for the Perplexed and Catch-67: The Ideas Underlying the Conflict Tearing Israel Apart.
