What is a Memory Café? A memory café is a model of social programming that provides an inviting place for people with forgetfulness or other changes in their thinking – and their family/friends! 

September 5 – Dance Party with Jill Meyer!

Let’s dance, move and groove ! Join Jill Meyer for a fun party ! You can stay seated and just move your body from a chair or move freely to the TWIST, Easy Motown, Cha Cha, and Frank Sinatra.

Join singer/guitarist Ruth Rappaport for a festive Sing Along with song sheets to prompt!

November 14 – Making Music Together with Linda LaSalle featuring the harp, guitar and other small instruments

Join Linda LaSalle, a board-certified music therapist who plays the guitar and lap harp, for an interactive hour of singing familiar tunes, moving to music, drumming and reminiscing. Participants will be able to shake maracas, bells, tambourines, frame drums/mallets.

December 5 – All About Hanukkah with Michele Marram

Join Michele Marram (M.A., M.L.S.), research librarianand art educator, for an hour of exploration and projects from looking at Marc Chagall’s installation of the Menorah in the stained glass windows to creating our own images related to Hanukkah.
