Beloved Temple Emanuel Member Dr. Lynne Heller joins Rabbi Wesley Gardenswartz, Rabbi Michelle Robinson, Hazzan Elias Rosemberg, Hazzan Sheini Daniel J. Nesson and Aliza Berger in the Samuel Chiel Sanctuary. Our sanctuary service includes spirited congregational singing, a weekly Torah commentary, the commemoration and celebration of lifecycle moments and a sermon.

About Dr. Lynne Heller

Dr. Lynne Heller combines her passion for biblical text with her academic background in Jewish Studies and Comparative Literature. She holds a Ph.D. from NYU. A respected member of the MEAH Bible faculty at Hebrew College, she has taught Bible at TE and to hundreds of students in the greater Boston area. Her grown children have “gone into the family business.” Dr. Miriam Heller Stern is Vice Provost of HUC and Director of their Schools of Education. Rabbi Joshua Heller, an 8th generation rabbi, is serving Congregation Bnai Torah in Atlanta. Lynne is savta sababa to six grandchildren.
