The Chai385 students will be taking a field trip across Newton to the Mayyim Hayyim Living Waters Community Mikveh!
Students will participate in an interactive, discussion-based program that includes study of mikveh’s biblical roots and a hands-on tour or scavenger hunt. Students will learn what happens at an immersion and the many reasons — ancient and contemporary — that bring people to the mikveh.
Students in grades 6-8 who are not enrolled in Chai385 are also invited to join us!

Chai385 students should be dropped off at Temple Emanuel no later than 3:45 for an on-time departure. The bus will return before the regular dismissal time at 5:45. Students who need to be dropped off late or picked up early can be met directly at the Mikveh at 1838 Washington Street, Newton, MA.
