The youngest child born into a large Jewish family in Czechoslovakia, Temple Emanuel member, Magda, was only fourteen when the Nazis invaded Munkacs in 1942. Magda’s story of survival is one of strength, bravery, family and faith.
Religious School students in grades 5-7 will have the unique opportunity of meeting Magda and learning her story.
All parents, as well as students in grades 5-12, who are not part of the Religious School are also encouraged to join us for this important event. If you are not a Religious Student and wish to attend, please email Amanda.
