United Synagogue Youth (USY)
United Synagogue Youth, also known as USY, offers programming for Jewish children. USY consists of chapters and regions from all across the United States and Canada. The Temple Emanuel chapter offers programming for 3rd -12th graders on weekends and weeknights after Religious School.
We offer programming to four groups at Temple Emanuel:
Chalutzim (3rd and 4th grade)
Kadima (5th and 6th grade)
Junior USY (7th and 8th grade)
Senior USY (9th-12th grade)

Temple Emanuel participates in New England Region USY (NERUSY) events including: Encampment at Camp Ramah of New England, Boat Cruise, Leadership, Turkey Dance, Kadima Museum of Science Camp-in, Spring Convention, Senior Weekend, International Convention, Spring Fling, Tikkun Olam Semi-Formal, and much more.
National USY Summer Programs:
Want to have the most amazing summer of your life? USY offers a variety of summer programs.
USY on Wheels: Classic, Mission: Mitzvah, and East (entering 9th grade).
Travel around the United States for 6½ weeks on Classic or Mission: Mitzvah and 4 weeks on East.
