Adult B'nai Mitzvah

Adult B'nai Mitzvah

Not everyone celebrated their Bar or Bat mitzvah at age 13. If you've ever considered becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah as an adult, but have been putting it off for any of a variety of reasons, now is the time to make a commitment. If you want to learn more about your Judaism as an adult then consider participating in Temple Emanuel's Adult B'nai Mitzvah study program.

This two year course of study with our rabbis and clergy will begin with an Orientation Session and Dinner on Erev Sukkot, Wednesday, October 12 following evening services and will culminate in an Adult B'nai Mitzvah service and celebration on March 2, 2013.

Students need to have basic Hebrew reading skills to join the Adult B'nai Mitzvah class.

If you are interested in participating in the Adult B'nai Mitzvah course please contact Rabbi Michelle Robinson, mrobinson@templeemanuel.com, 617-558-8139
